Be ready to bowl when the pins are set and it is your turn. DO NOT bowl until the pinsetting machine has completed its cycle and the
sweepbar has been raised. This will prevent damage to the machine and to your bowling ball.
Do not take too much time to setup or aim while you are on the approach.
Observe one lane courtesy. If two bowlers are on either side of yourself, the general rule is the first bowler to the approach
bowls first. The bowler to the right should bowl first if you reach the approach at the same time.
Stay on your approach while delivering your ball. Return to the settee area after making each delivery. Do not stand waiting on
the approach for your turn to bowl.
Do not use another bowlers ball without their permission. Refrain from placing more than 2 personal balls on the rack
at any time. Excessive lofting can hurt your game and damage the lane surface.
Excessive movement or noise can be distracting to a bowler. When a player is ready to bowl, give them the courtesy of making their
shot without interference, as you will want the same courtesy when it is your turn.
Refrain from using abusive gestures or obscene language.
Play the game to win, but be a good loser.
Good sportsmanship is important if you wish to have an exciting and rewarding experience. Congratulating opponents after each game;
win or lose, cheering on teammates and following bowlers etiquette are just some ways to show good sportsmanship.
