President's Message
I'd like to take this opportunity to welcome all returning bowlers as well as all new bowlers to the 2007-2008 bowling season. The board had a meeting in late August to discuss what the goals of the association this season should be and we came up with a few important goals.

The first and most important is the need for all leagues to make sure that all sanctions are received by Alf Ferguson, our Association Manager, by the 30 day deadline (this is 30 days from the first night of bowling - no exceptions). That being said, if you have any problems or concerns about the application process, all of our board members are more than willing to help you out!

Secondly, our membership committee will be doing membership checks 3 times this year so we can make sure that all bowlers who are bowling in sanctioned leagues have paid their association memberships. League secretaries are reminded to have every bowler fill out a sanction card even if they've paid in other leagues - this makes the job of our membership committee that much easier.

Third, our website will be the major focal point for getting information about upcoming tournaments and meetings to the bowlers. If you know of anyone who does not have access to the internet and would like a hard copy of the information, please click on the Questions/Comments link and send us a message!

This year the board is committed to being accessible to the bowlers and to helping league executives overcome any obstacles to making their leagues run smoothly. If you require any information about awards or sanctions or anything bowling related, please do not hesitate to let any of us know. We've got board members from both Prost and Cloverleaf so you're able to find one of us at either location at some point during the week!

Good luck and good bowling!
